Well I got this headset for gaming and all in all it was a good purchase for the price. About the only gripe I have is that since there is no padding on the headset “arm” that goes over the top of the ear it can chafe at times. Other than that the sound quality is great and the mic is crystal clear according to friends I game with.

I purchased this headset to replace an old headset that had sound in only one ear. I use headsets for communicating via Ventrilo (VoIP) and works great. On initial set up I did have to enable the headset and mic through audio settings in the control panel.

Pros: Very lightweight, doesn’t sit on top of head, wires seem to be encased better with thicker plastic tubing (better longevity hopefully).

Another pro is that if you happen to forget they are on your head and walk away from your computer, these will come straight off your head with ease.

Cons: Can be uncomfortable on ears if worn for long periods of time (reason for four stars).
